RefugeAlert is built to store as little as possible. Here's the complete list.

What we store

When you set up a watch: your email address, and the refuge/date/accommodation combinations you chose. When you pay: a payment reference from our payment processor (not your card details — we never see or store those). Nothing else.

Why

Your email is how we alert you and how you manage your own watch — there are no accounts, no passwords, and no profile beyond that.

Payment processing

Payments are handled entirely by our payment processor, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. They see your payment details; we don't. Their own privacy policy governs that part of the transaction.

How long we keep it

Your watch data is kept for as long as the watch is active, plus a short period afterward for support purposes. Ask us to delete it early any time — see contact below.

What we never do

We never sell or share your email with anyone. We never store your booking-site password (we never ask for it). We never track you across other sites.

Email owner@refugealert.com and we'll delete your data or answer any question about it.
